PROLINE SERIES RACKS will ship PRE-ASSEMBLED for customers (freight shipping orders only). Larger (multi-rack) orders may not ship pre-assembled – in order to reduce the number of pallets needed and/or to reduce shipping costs for our customers. This may or may not become a permanent change to the ProLine Series Racks (as of 08/25/25.)

To ensure the safety of your reptiles and to ensure panels do not overheat, please see below…
- All Freedom Breeder reptile racks MUST used with a thermostat to safely regulate temps. This does not have to be a Freedom Breeder thermostat, but should be a high-end thermostat model such as: Vivarium Electronics VE thermostats, Spyder Robotics Herpstats, or a Freedom Breeder FB thermostat.
- Due to the reflective finish on our heat panels, temp readings (with an IR temp gun) should be taken from inside the tubs where the heat panels rest below each tub.
- Temps should be setup, adjusted, and tested (for each level) prior to placing reptiles or substrate in rack.
- We recommend a dual-zone (2-probe) thermostat for any racks over five levels tall – for the most consistent temps.
- Please see our Updated Thermostat User Manual (page 10-11, even for non-Freedom Breeder thermostats) for more information regarding heat panel usage and probe placement recommendations.

The FB80 ProLine Compact reptile rack is most commonly used for Reticulated & Burmese Python (hatchlings), Boa Constrictor (hatchlings), Red-tail Boa (hatchlings), Red Blood Python, Sumatran “Black Blood” Short-tail Python, and Borneo Short-tail Python (Sub-adults). However, this tub/rack is also a common alternative for Ball Python (Adults) keepers – as the FB80(W) tub provides ~1.7 inches (height) compared to the FB70 tubs. Additionally, this is one of the few tubs that we offer a “windowed” option, so that you can view your reptiles without needing to open the tub.
