The FB6 is the second smallest tub we manufacture. This tub ensures the hatchling feels safe and secure while establishing good eating habits – slightly more room compared to the FB5 tub. Typically used for ball python hatchlings (up to ~250g), but would be great for any small snake (or some small lizard/gecko) species hatchlings without needing to provide hides. Due to having a smaller floor space, ball pythons will outgrow this tub size relatively quickly, so (for this or similarly-sized species) it is recommended that these tubs be used for short-term housing to be upgraded relatively soon after or for breeders who can sell/rehome hatchlings relatively quickly.

The Critter Transport Tub was specifically designed for the safe and worry-free transport of live rodents (mice, rats, etc.), but can also be perfect to safely transport reptiles (snakes, lizards, geckos, etc.) – just throw some substrate in the bottom of the tub for any species that need humidity during travel. Very easy to open, while keeping the animals secure. Plenty of ventilation to keep animals cool while transporting. Lid pegs allow for multiple tubs to be easily stacked without worry of them falling over. Holes in tub & lid allow for zip-ties to be added for additional security during longer trips. Tubs come with pre-molded slots to allow you to separate the bin into multiple compartments. This tub is most typically used for (adult) female Boa Constrictors or as a grow out tub for Reticulated and Burmese pythons. Comes pre-installed with roller-bearing channels (for easy replacement in our rack) and windows for easy viewing of the reptiles. Many hobbyists and keepers have used these tubs (in our Reptile 66-4 rack) to keep Ball pythons, Blue-tongue skinks and other species for a more display-style setup with a lot of space to explore, move around and to enjoy your reptiles.
