PROLINE SERIES RACKS will ship PRE-ASSEMBLED for customers (freight shipping orders only). Larger (multi-rack) orders may not ship pre-assembled – in order to reduce the number of pallets needed and/or to reduce shipping costs for our customers. This may or may not become a permanent change to the ProLine Series Racks (as of 08/25/25.)

Below, you’ll find our complete list of our ProLine Rodent Racks, listed from smallest-to-largest (tub size) with dimensions, normal use recommendations, and other important information. We hope this will make our customer experience simpler and more streamlined.

To avoid flooding your tubs/rodents when first setting up your new rack, please be sure to…
- Due to shipping vibrations, valves may tighten or loosen in-transit. Hand adjustment to valves will be necessary before use (DO NOT use tools to adjust valves.)
- Please be sure to run water through your new rack system for at least one day prior to placing rodents or bedding in racks to identify any leaks.
- Adjust valves (tighten/loosen) by-hand to stop any leaking valves and ensure water flows through valves. Then test for one more full day to ensure leaks have stopped and waterflow is good.

FB10 ProLine Compact (0824-10) | Compact Frame

The FB10 ProLine Compact rodent rack uses the same setup as our FB10 ProLine rodent rack, but with only (3) tubs per level for a much smaller footprint. Along with this and a much lower price point this rack allows you to start rodent breeding without breaking the bank compared to a full standard frame rack. The FB10 tub is perfect for a complete mouse breeding solution, but has also been used by many breeders as maternity tubs for female rats. Please note (for rats): grow-outs and breeding should be done in larger tubs in a separate rack.

FB15 ProLine (1020-15) | Standard Frame

The FB15 ProLine rack is the go-to rack model for ASF breeding as the FB15 tub provides plenty of space for colony breeding – which is ideal for ASFs. From our customers experience, ASFs do much better in the shorter tub models compared to the taller FB20s or FB30s. However, this tub/rack is also very popular for mouse breeding.

FB20 ProLine (0824-20) | Standard Frame

The FB20 ProLine rack is most commonly used for grow outs (weaned rat pups) or communal nursing for mother rats – until the babies are weaned. This rack can also be used for mouse breeding, but will require adding some sort of “step up” (cut down 2×4 block) to the front of the tubs so the mice will be able to reach the water valves.

The FB30 ProLine rack is the perfect rack/tub for rat breeding and can be set up as an all-in-one rat breeding rack as it provides plenty of space and head room for breeding, grow outs, or individual/communal nursing. If using for grow outs (of weaned rat pups) this will require adding some sort of “step up” (cut down 2×4 block) to the front of the tubs so the smaller rats will be able to reach the water valves. The FB30 tub provides 2″of additional head room in comparison to the FB20 tubs.
